Part of the Aybrook & Mason Cape Series, this Shiraz reflects the bold yet refined character of South African red wines. Selected for depth, structure, and balance, it delivers a classic expression of Shiraz with rich fruit and elegant spice.
Vineyards & Harvest
The grapes are sourced from carefully selected vineyard blocks in the Stellenbosch region. Warm days and cooler evenings help develop concentrated fruit flavors while maintaining balance and structure. The fruit is hand harvested, with only the best bunches selected in the vineyard.
Winemaking
Whole bunches are crushed and fermented in open fermenters using selected yeast strains. The wine is matured for 18 months in French oak barrels. A final selection of barrels is blended to achieve the desired complexity, structure, and balance.
Ageing Potential
Ready to drink now, with the potential to mature further for up to seven years.
